information

Hey there!

My name is Christian Bjurinder, I was born on the 16th of August 1975.
I live in a town called Varberg, which is situated on the Swedish westcoast.

Have always had a love for graphic design, used to draw & paint alot in my teens.
But today it's all digital for me..love to work in Illustrator & Photoshop.

But my biggest passion in life is, have always been and will forever be...the sweets sounds that we call MUSIC.
Have worked as a DJ since 1992 & started to produce my own music in 1997, and that paid of big time in 2000 when i released my first 12inch Vinyl single, under my artist name Chuck Cogan, on the UK record label "Soul Brother Records" called "The Disco Strangler EP". I followed that up with the "Keep On (Holdin' On)" single also on Soul Brother. Those two records got me on the map of House Music and the american label "Soul Phusion Records" signed me for a record deal.

Released a total of 6 singles on Soul Phusion & there sublabels. Unfortunately be late 2003 Soul Phusion had gone bust, and so my deal was over...and my productions had come to the stage where i no longer felt thy keept the quality i wanted so my last relase to this date is "The Next Generation EP" from 2003.
I still produce music but nowadays it's more for personal pleasure, nothing i would want released...so far := )

Back to the graphic side of things then...
Have worked with webgraphics since 98, although only activly for about 3-4 years at various firms & as a freelance.

Worked for 3 years in the local records shop here in Varberg from 2003 to 06, then it was no longer viable to run a shop dedicated to only music.

As of the 29th of June 2007 i have finnshed a EU-Project called "Webproducer 2007". The target direction was the .NET framework, but with the benefit of choosing your own focus and mine was therefore ofcource towards the graphic side of web and even some print production.
During the project i had the leading role as designer for a couple of sharp projects.

Well i guess that will have to do for now, or this could get VERY longwinded : )

So i thank you for your showed interrest.

Kind Regards
Christian Bjurinder
